The win of Whobegotyou in this afternoon's $1 million Group 1 Caulfield Guineas showed yet again the ability of Mark Kavanagh's boutique stable to produce a top horse from limited numbers.

A $19,000 yearling purchase, Whobegotyou defeated the $2 million Freedman trained Time Thief and the $1.2 million Hayes trained Von Costa de Hero.

Kav will now proceed toward the $1.5 million Victoria Derby via the AAMI Vase at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate day.
